Hotel #6

Hi, here are a couple of recordings from last night.
The first couple started slowly. I only heard some kissing sounds initially, but to my excitement it progressed into a hot session. Some talking parts have been removed.

I had terrible timing with the second couple and only got the last minute.

Great clarity in these - sounds like you're in the room with them!
And you caught everything in the first one - from start to finish!

Damn this is pretty amazing...what is your equipment setup? You need to teach us master recorder

Thanks for the feedback. Regarding equipment, I use an Olympus LS-P4 on the highest rec level for most of my recordings, including these two.
However, the quality much depends on the environment. I try hard to find hotels with
- doors that are lacking proper thresholds (sound travels easily through the gap).
- small rooms (bed close to the door)
- carpeted floors in the corridors (less echo and overall noise level)
I also tend to avoid hotels where the reviews mention thin walls as I think many people are afraid that the neighbours will hear them. A thick wall on the other hand seems to give people a false sense of privacy and they don't seem to be aware just how easy they can be heard from the hallway. At least that's my theory. For example, some hotels with visible door gaps have many hundreds of reviews without a single complaint about noise!

^ Wow - triple microphone, Bluetooth technology, SD card slot. Expensive, but the sound quality
is amazing. I wonder what the maximum bitrate is?

The maximum bitrate is 4.39 Mb/s, but with FLAC it will use variable bitrate and reduce the size of the files without losing quality.
