Blast From the Past - New Years Eve - January 2016

So was going through my archive and thought I'd share this gem from my very early experiences recording.
Was very inexperienced still - thought of following couples or walking hotels was terrifying. Back then I had two miserable $15 USB sticks that had to be replaced after 3-4 uses. I would choose motels where I thought people would go after partying, check into a room, and roll the dice to see if I could pick up any through-wall action.
This motel was older and had one of those common electrical boxes that are becoming rare - for TVs from adjoining rooms to plug into. So these were captured by inserting my USB into the box as far as I could which was better than trying to tape it to a wall.
Couple arrived around 10PM and had a brutally loud argument - guy was complaining about her relatives they were going to visit right after the holiday.
Both were in their '20s and white. Guy was stocky, muscular. Close cropped black hair. Girl was a gorgeous, tall brunette. I didn't think anything was going to happen given his anger and her defensiveness. I had experienced other false starts beforehand - couple checks in, fights, one or both say 'Screw it!" and both end up leaving with zero action.
This time though after they both had their say, guy turned on love music and they started the first of FIVE lovemakings..
Midnight Kickoff: After that, they napped a bit and he asked about another round - she asked about the time and when he told her she replied they had enough for it. So they had probably their most intense session ending around 2AM.
Afterwards, quick shower and they departed. I was pleased to hear the door slam around 5AM - they had evidently gone out to join a party and returned; promptly falling asleep. I put my phone on vibrating-only alarm every 20 minutes so I could check the wall and not miss what I was hoping would be their wake-up morning sex - and was rewarded with Round 3:
