Deja vu

Hi,

A different town, a different hotel, a different couple but somehow, I know I’ve posted this tale before. I’m pretty sure this was another dangerous liaison.

These clips were captured in Crawley, UK. I arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon, feeling a little worn out after my day’s work. As I drove into the car park I was held up by a man in a shiny black Jaguar, who was taking his time finding a parking space for his precious vehicle. After eventually getting past him and hurrying into the reception, I confess to feeling a little smug as I then beat him to the desk and so held up his check in. What the hey, these childish pleasures make life on the road that little bit more bearable 😊.

Anyway, the guy looked to be a middle aged executive, well dressed, expensive luggage, perhaps a little overweight but otherwise pretty healthy. I didn’t really take much notice of him at that time, and when I headed down to the bar a little later I saw him sitting at a table drinking a glass of wine, having changed into jeans and a polo shirt. He was drumming his fingers on the table and kept looking up at people arriving at the hotel.

I ordered my food and settled down with my pad to waste some time surfing the web. Before my meal arrived though, Mr Jaguar suddenly stood up and headed to the entrance where he met a younger lady, early thirties, carrying a small overnight bag and dressed in office work clothes. She was quite slim, medium length dark hair, small breasts, dark eyes and a glowing smile – she was obviously very happy to see him. They hugged (a little clumsily) and chatted for a moment, then he took her bag from her and they headed together towards the lift. I noticed that Mr Jaguar had left his half full glass on the table.

Obviously, at that point I was faced with a dilemma because I knew my food was on the way, so do I wait or do I follow them? Well, what would you do under these circumstances...…?

Fortunately the lift had a digital indicator of which floor it was at, so it was an easy job to see which floor they stopped at then run up the stairs after them (even more fortunate for my tired legs is that it was only the second floor – there were eight altogether 😊). So, USB planted, I was able to get back to my dinner, leaving them to greet each other properly….

I stayed downstairs for quite a while after dinner and eventually, the two of them appeared. They quickly looked around, I think checking out whether they saw anyone they recognised, then they walked over to the bar and placed their order. I was eager to hear what they’d been up to, so I left the bar and collected the USB on the way to my room, leaving a fresh one in its place.

After I’d reviewed the first recording I headed back downstairs in time to see them head back up to their room. Some time later this next clip happened.

They were exceptionally quiet lovers, I’m pretty sure I walked past their room during this but I couldn’t hear anything from the other side of their door. However, it’s quite a nice recording. The next morning they awoke very early, five’ish I’d say, which led to this little clip.

I’m not so sure if this is a sex sound, but it’s quite an interesting little listen. Following this he showered and left the hotel. I later saw her eating alone at breakfast, wearing a fresh set of business clothes.

To my mind, everything points towards this being an affair, probably between the boss and one of his younger employees. I've certainly encountered this scenario before, I know I've posted similar tales here in the past. These two were perhaps not the most vigorous lovers, but they made up for it by coming back for seconds (and thirds).

I love the sounds that are circumscribed in a context, where the actors are presented, the scene, where details are remembered, sometimes minimal. I think that on some occasion I have commented that for an inveterate voyeur of sounds as I am, that staging seems fundamental to me, because it makes you get involved, that you "live" what you are going to hear, that allows you to imagine, That makes you participate, in short.

Thank you for sharing not only the sounds, but also the theater where they perform. Many thanks.

You're right. It's not the first time I've made that mistake - I'm getting ditsy in my old age! Here's the correct version of the second file:
