The Voyeur's Motel...

Did anybody read the book "The Voyeur's Motel" from Gay Talese?
I just found a short note about it, and it looks like an awfully voyeuristic experience for more than twenty years.
It's also available in German: Der Voyeur.

Saw the documentary on Netflix but haven't read the book.

Thanks a lot for the hint to the old topic. For me it was new.
I will see the Netflix documentary and will read the book.
Great help.
Are there more books known for voyeurs?

I read the book, donĀ“t remember all details but I know it made an interesting read for most of it.
There was some kind of criticism how much of it was just made-up. One point was (if I remember correctly) that the motel owner for example reported a murder he claimed to have seen but there is nothing like that in the police reports of that period.

I read the book the last two days, and it is interesting, even with only some of the observations cited.
