New neighbor loves to suck dick (long and slow blowjob) - first ever recording (new at this)

I recorded this by just taping my phone to the wall in my town house lol it's nothing crazy like the other stuff on this forum
but you can hear gags and spits and spanks every now and then (most of the sound i record is muffled except for certain noises for some reason) .. town houses are built for sound reduction so I'm still trying to figure out the best way to record my neighbors with limited budget. First time I ever heard my neighbors in 15 years of living in town houses. I would say the best is from 15min+. And once I discovered these guys I decided to find an audio forum and here I am

I'm excited to see what I capture in the future.

Yes it is! The problem is my phone mic can't pick up thuds or loud interactions correctly (gets super distorted) but I'm able to pick up whisper moans and one time her going ' i want you" super clear but not much else. It's odd the conditions really need to line up.. It's super obvious when they are going at it.. typical late evening every time I see 2 cars in the driveway but totally new to audio so learning what device I can pickup and how to setup in my roomates room... yeah kinda hard to setup

Change the settings to stereo mode to start with. Otherwise good catch

Why would recording in stereo improve anything?

I think it's probably a subjective thing. if you are sitting there with headphones on and it's only sound coming in one ear, then half your processing ability is redundant... further, often hearing is not equal across both ears and one ear may well be better than the other for processing sound, if that happens to be the 'wrong' ear again you can miss out on detail....with both ears recieving sound it seems to focus on a more central point inside your head, so to speak..... and I guess finally for me, I like symmetry..... but that just my opinion, as I say subjective.
Ray.

Ah, well that's different. Stereo recording implies that there's separate information hitting both ears (microphones) that give some spacial cues as to where sounds have originated. But you can have the same sound in mono that's recorded on both tracks of a recorder that play back through both speakers equally. Sure, I'd rather have mono track centered as opposed to coming out of one speaker. But that's playback and listening as opposed to recording.
Now for recordings on this forum, most are mono. The file above is. Most recorders that we use are mono. Mono is fine for most purposes here. Stereo will rarely add something positive in most cases of recording on this forum. Bigger files, extra noise, lack of focus etc. That said, I'd love more quality stereo recordings on here. Ones created under good situations. I'd love the extra reality it would add. Though what we tend to focus on, the most important bits aren't really 'stereo'.
If that makes sense. I just woke up.

Ehm, mono does not mean there is sound only on one (headphone)speaker but it is the same sound coming from both. So mono means more symmetry in fact.
For our purpose, there should hardly be a difference between mono and stereo recordings as both sound sources usually are very close to another. Stereo might make a difference with 69 position or foursomes though

Hi, could you upload the raw file? There nothing much to hear. Most of the sounds seem to be the distortions due to the denoising process. If there is a raw file i may be able to denoise it properly. Greetings

Sometimes I've had recordings in my life that have only come out of one side of the headphones...and I can say when you get them, it's kind of difficult listening to subtle breathing changes....while outside the dustmen are emptying the bins.... but point taken regarding full two channel mono
