Small listening device

I will be staying in hotels soon in the UK next month when they reopen, I need to know the best listening devices that are small and discreet have a long battery life preferably in record when sound is present can anyone suggest anything. Oh and I need to listen and extract the audio without being near it. I hope to contribute a lot thanks.
