I captured this through the wall recording the very same evening except from my neighbors on the opposite wall of my headboard.

They came in late so I never got a chance to see them. I believe in building your own fantasy in your mind what they look like anyway.

This starts off slow. In fact I kind of gave up on them as I listened to a lot of chatter and bed noise as they constantly got in and out but nothing. And with all of the air conditioners cycling on and off it made a real B-word listening through the wall anyway.

But persistence pays off and I managed to hear things get quiet and miraculously everyone's air conditioners stopped. A faint, occasional female moan began to quietly rise from the silence.

YES!

It slowly builds and builds. As noisy and chatty as they were, I was hoping it was oral and things were just getting started. But it turns out this was the real deal and they were just quiet.... Until the end. Spoiler alert: man sounds like he really pumped a heavy, deep load into his woman.

Luckily the elderly couple who just got done making and birthing calves a few hours prior had stopped clanking shit around in their room after their post-sex coma because my phone was really picking up their noise prior to this clip.

This is my first through the wall recording on this new phone and my impression is that it's not as sensitive as my previous one even using the same recording app. Going forward I will be taking my old phone with me. It seemed to be more sensitive and acted better as a contact mic if I could wedge it between the wall and headboard.

I tried to doctor this clip a bit suppressing the background noise and bring out the action that we all are here for.

The recording turned out to be ok, I’d say imho. But I really had to laugh, your description of the elderly couple is sensational

My previous phone is a LG G7. I'm now using a LG V60. I use HD Audio Recorder app for the captures. I like that I can control the gain and noise cutoff, mainly low end to diminish AC hum. I tried a few but settled on this app.

I typically use VLC Media Player for playback with gain and equalizer controls. I started using WaveEditor app for finer playback control, very basic editing, and MP3 export. There probably are better apps out there but I'm not looking for buy/subscribe to anything.

I thought the G7 performed as a decent contact mic when I took off the protective case and trapped it between two hard surfaces...like a wall and headboard. Sitting out freely does not pick up distant or muffled sound that well. Setting the phone mic side butted flat against a wall doesn't work well at all. It just picks up the noise reflecting off of the wall and nothing from the other side.

The V60 also records in stereo which I have zero need for in this situation. I merged the 2 tracks into mono in WaveEditor for this recording. I haven't looked into whether I can disable stereo recording.

Nice catch but your description of the elderly couple nearly made me spit out my drink from laughter.

I love through wall sounds. For not being clear as corridor captures, there is a secret, almost forbidden quality.

Yes!

You can try and be quiet in your bed tucked away in the back corner or suite of your room so no one hears you from the hallway but I'm going to catch your intimate little moans as the bed frame pops and squeaks away.
