simple audio app

Hi all
I have alot of audios but most of them have a bad background or moans are a bit far to be heard clearly . Is there any app or plugin or software simple to use . Am on MAC .

Both of these are no apps for smartphones but software for computers and both of them are not simple but complex and really useful for editing sounds. Audacity is free (Open Source), Audition is not but it is the better software. You will find some information on both in the forum as many members edit their sounds this way.
