September 2024
Here's from another trip to Spain. I stayed at the same hotel as two months ago.
The first couple was in their early or mid twenties, The girl looked pretty good, blond hair, bob haircut, glasses, big round earrings, slim body. The guy had dark hair, medium built, tattoos on his right arm. Unfortunately, loud TV sounds from a nearby room and other noises.

Average looking couple, 30-35 years old. She had long brown hair, medium built. The guy had short dark hair, light stubble. TV in the background at first, but it was turned off after a while.

Unseen couple. I heard them both nights. There were some sudden drafts under their door during the second session, but only a few moments were ruined. I had a usb recorder further down the corridor that caught the same session.

The last couple was 25-30 years old. The girl had long dark hair, slim and tanned, b-cup. Black guy, short hair, medium built, taller than her. They arrived late to the hotel and had a quickie a short while later.

What USB sticks do you use and do you just leave them in the hallway?

I mostly use USB recorders from esonic. I found out about them in the hardware forum. I've tried a few other brands but these are my favourites, very sensitive, although they aren't cheap.masterofnone wrote: β01 Sep 2024 00:55 What USB sticks do you use and do you just leave them in the hallway?
No, I'm not as brave as Ms LeStanf for example. I don't dare to visibly leave them in the hallway. Not just because I don't want to lose them, but I'm quite paranoid even though I know the risk is very low. Still, they carry partial fingerprints and DNA which would trace back to me if there was a serious investigation. If I put myself in the shoes of someone who wants to catch the one who put it there, I would simply lurk to see who comes to pick it up.
I need a very good hiding spot out of sight and obviously no CCTVs around. It's easier to find such spots in boutique hotels. I sometimes tape the recorders to exit signs, internet routers, fire extinguishers or under furniture. They're not always close to a door though. The best safe hiding spot I ever found was in a hotel where there were door closers on the outside of the doors, so I could stick the recorders on top of them, very close to the upper gap of the door. Unfortunately, mainly business people in that hotel and very few couples.
Anyway, hearing the couples live is the real thrill for me. I have weeks of usb recordings by now that I didn't search yet. A spectrogram can show recognisable patterns when there are continuous loud moans, but otherwise it's very tedious.

would it be like this
https://www.amazon.com/SONIC-Voice-Reco ... B073XQ659P
my main problem with usb records is not just the b ad quality but short battery life. and i dont mean they can record for long, in the beginning they run for days but after e year or two they down to 30 minutes
also one i bought was only voice activated and that cant pick up faint sounds
im not in a situation where i can carry around pro looking recording devices so it has to be the small stealth usb sticks

After a few years mine can still record a whole night at least. I think the quality is good enough for our hobby, but of course it doesn't compare well with a professional recorder.
This recorder has a switch so you can easily start recording in either continuous or voice activated mode. I never use voice activation (unless I set it by accident, which happened several times).

Re: September 2024
Thanks Million1 for all the effort on these recordings. They are superb as always!!!
I agree with the fact that getting caught would be so embarrassing that I don't know who I would react.
Taking into account the situation that your recorder is discovered I doubtly thinkg they will do DNA tests, as they are costly and usually hotels or guests won't take all the implications around these kind of investigations. Just my thought on this.
Last question 2409_1 and 2409_2 are recorded by phone? Sound is quite clear.
There is nothing like standing close to the door and hearing the sounds, there is a mixture of feelings on that moment.Million1 wrote: β01 Sep 2024 14:04 I mostly use USB recorders from esonic. Re: September 2024
Thats the real deal when it comes to voice recorder. I'm doubting to get one, USB recorder is nice to hide in any spot, but the quality recorded is unsatisfactory.
Do you leave the Olympus in the corridor for the complete night? Or do you use only in your presence?
