I'm not an expert when it comes to Apple products but don't you synchronize your phone and your computer using iTunes? Once you have your files on your computer, you can upload them here easily as attachments.

Hey Duckdog7,

Assuming that you used the voice recorder app that comes preinstalled on your iPhone, then the recordings will be copied over to your computer next time you connect it and open iTunes. They'll be in AAC format, so should be fine to upload here, most players can handle AAC format now.

If you're running a jailbroken iPhone, you avoid iTunes for some other reason, or don't use the voice recorder app that came preloaded, just reply back with more info about your setup and we'll take it from there.

Looking forward to hearing your stuff man,

Help seeked

Post by marthy1228 »

Hi members,

I have a sound file from some month ago but pityly had my cell phone handy at the time the screams took place.

I been trying to improve the qualiy by amplifing and lowering the noise frequencies and pushing the higher frequencies up and all kinds of stuff, but the success was poor.
Can someone try it again for me with a more professional approach. I found a destinct scream shortly before the 2min mark.

Maybe, someone can help getting more out of it. In real it sounded great - thats for sure.

Sorry to only have such a poor file.

I converted it into wav
Thanks for your help- so far I used Audacity software to tickle something out of it.

Cheers,

Marthy

when you sync your phone to itunes. Your voice memo will appear in itunes at the very bottom. The actual file itself is located in your Itunes folder under itunes music at the very bottom of the list. It will be named in a date format.

Hey Marthy, thanks for the reminder and sorry for not answering before.

I´m afraid you won´t get much out of this recording. I´m not a professional audio engineer but I tried my best and yes, there seems to be some action ... but as in many of my own recordings, you can´t separate the good parts from the noise. Most of my hotel recordings sound like yours or even worse ... it is a shame when you know you recorded something but you don´t really hear it. Sorry, anybody else?

Hi yeppie,

thanks a lot for trying.

I will find another catch soon hopefully and try to get it better.

somehow the activity went down and there is not much to hear lately.

as soon as I get some good stuff - I will share of course.

Cheers,

Marthy
