Hi, Yeppie. First of all, thank you so much for adding the dh7 file. I really don't think it was lost or orphaned, but rather that I was a bit lacking in skill. Let me explain: yesterday I tried to create a draft so I could add an entry today, where I attached the file. My lack of skill prevented the draft from saving, nor the file itself. It had to be moved to the lost and found drawer. Once again, I sincerely appreciate your help.

And now, for the entire Community, an explanation about the dh7 file.

I'm not usually obsessed with capturing audio, although I have to admit that I usually carry some recording equipment with me, just in case...especially when I travel to a hotel for work or leisure (which I also do). Not everything is successful, as you should know and understand, and there are moments of frustration or failure (many moments). Sometimes, at least in my case, I aim for a specific goal that turns out to be fruitless or of little value, because you'll agree with me that not all audio recordings can be considered "caviar," and it happens that in many cases the sound isn't good, the partner isn't vocal enough, or, in short, what was intended isn't captured. This happens all too often, unfortunately.

Audio context

I had to travel to another city quite far from my own for business. It was Sunday. I had decided to travel that day because I had a meeting early Monday and I didn't want any unforeseen events to delay me. I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, around 6 p.m. The plan was to check in, have a drink, have an early dinner, and sleep so I'd be clear-headed the next day.

When I had taken possession of my room and cleaned up a bit, I decided to go down to the hotel's bar, near the reception area. While enjoying a leisurely beer, I saw a couple arrive who caught my attention, especially because they were dressed in a strangely festive manner, as if they were coming from a celebration. She was of average height, brunette with blonde highlights, and was wearing some kind of black evening (or party) dress that fitted her extraordinarily well and showed off her beautiful figure. She must have been around 35 years old and was arm in arm (a curious attitude, it seemed to me) with a man noticeably older than her, close to 60. He was dressed casually (which contradicted the woman's clothing), worn jeans, a shirt I think was blue, and a jacket also dark blue.

At first I thought they might be a married couple, but it didn't take long for me to realize, from what I was hearing when they sat down at a table next to mine, that they were actually lovers, although not casual ones, but rather a more or less ongoing relationship, forbidden, but ongoing.

It was clear that the only reason they were in the hotel was to fuck, evident from the way they behaved while sipping coffee and from what they were saying to each other in hushed voices. That's why I was paying close attention to their movements. That's why I followed them, and that's why I got the sound you'll hear below.

This time, it's a young couple, no older than 25. She wasn't very tall, with her hair tied back in a ponytail, an ordinary girl at first glance. He was (I refer to my field notes) a lanky guy, with long hair and a hoop earring in his left ear.

Regarding the question you made us about short/long captures in the first page, I prefer long ones, you get the full experience, specially on your captures that everything can be heard clearly.
