Dutch Goldmine (??), several couples

Hi all,

Last week I stayed in a Dutch Hotel in the middle of the Netherlands. It is a big hotel with a lot of rooms and a pretty popular hotel. I did not expect to catch much due to the snow in the Netherlands, but I catched a lot. The corridors are long and with no cameras, so pretty safe to record. All recordings are recorded with an iPhone through the door.

Couple 1: Room 180. I did not see them and I don't know their age, sounded a bit old (??).
Couple 2: Room 82, lesbian couple. They couldn't get enough. Caught 3 different sessions of them. Did not see them.
Couple 3: Room 247, a younger couple I guess. Did not see them.
Couple 4: Room 256, did not see them.

What is the best setting for the recording app on the iPhone? Did now record them on "ruimtelijk".

You need to invest in some (usb) recorders, its safer as you dont have to lurk the hallways for hours and get caught by someone and the audio is waaaay better then Iphone's quality. I really have no clue why my old Iphone 3 audio from a video is better then the average iphone audio nowadays, lol.

Does USB recorders pick sounds from afar like when I put it on top of a ceiling or maybe 3 to 4 feet apart?

Tbh I havent recorded anymore for years but I would always go for the under the door tactic. However lotsa people here have used hallway recordings and just let them there for the entire night.

Great shots, thanks for sharing. I live in the center of the Netherlands and would love to know which hotel you were in. Was it a Van der Valk Hotel?...or another hotel? Then I'll stay there too
