Upstairs Flat, down the road

I live on a road with victorian terraced houses. The main bedroom of the houses is at the front of the house, overlooking the street.
So there should be lots of opportunities for captures, in our warm summer.

However, sadly not, as most people in a house either have kids, (so are quiet) or are older, (with less opportunity)

All the best action seems to be in those houses that have been converted into flats, often rented with a younger crowd. However, the bedrooms of the converted flats are then at the back of the house, with no access possible.

However, a house down the road has been converted into flats, and is on a road junction, the front windows are the lounge, the bedroom / rear windows are adjacent to the road.
I had a historic capture their a few years ago, (not worth uploading), so its always been on my radar

So last weekend, I noticed the front windows on the upstairs flat were open by 3-4 inches, and my spidey senses started tingling as I heard a younger female voice talking pretty loudly. This was about 11:00pm. She sounded pretty drunk.
I planted a recorder, and retreated., (tascam)

I returned after an hour, and it was game on, easily heard from across the street.
I therefore planted a second slightly worse but much smaller recorder on a street sign, to test the audio quality - this is a spot I can leave the recorder in after dark easily, so hopefully more recordings are to come

They were in the front lounge for 90 mins, then adjurned to the bedroom at the back of the flat, (which unfortunately had the windows shut) but you can still hear her a few times from the front.
At that point, a local neihbour started padding up and down the street for 30 mins, (which you can hear on one of the recordings).

The flat has been shut up for the last few days, but i'm keeping a watching brief for future installments

I've cut the initial 45 mins of talking - it had minor action, but no great loss

I've left both files raw,
I normally use a high pass filter in audacity to made the action more obvious, and has limited impact to the quality

I love all your recordings Orange! Always good stuff. However, but do u mind giving me a rough minute guide of when the action is in both files? Just got don't have 2 hours to spare although part of me loves the suspense not knowing when. Cheers

np, i'll do a summary in a bit.
I normally download the file, then load it into audacity. The visual display then gives a very clear indication of the action, (especially following a high pass filter to remove wind / background roar).

Her voice (at least when she moans) is so soft. I imagine it was even better to hear in person.

Update

Very long, but context eh?

This pair are really hard to catch, but worth it, I think. I’ve only briefly seen them - The couple are young, mid 20s I think, and are South East Asian. She is tiny, very thin. It explains why I cannot place her accent.

I think the flat is a flat share - but both tenants seem to be rarely there, as far as I can tell. The flat seems empty all week, but they re-appear at the weekends.

The young couple seem to make hay when the other tenant is absent,
They seem to like late nights. I have pieced together that they seem to use the smaller side bedroom to sleep in, rather than the rear, (presumably the other tenant)
That bedroom window has only been occasionally open.
The front windows have been open more, but now the weather has turned. Oh well.

Its been a bit awkward to collect sounds, as I have been away for several weekends, so it’s been difficult to catch them. But they are pretty loud, and are the only opportunity I have found all summer

I’ve caught them a couple of times since the above post, but the window was only slightly open, and the capture not worth uploading as the weather was also poor.

However, this weekend, the Friday was quite humid, but quite windy. Sure enough, lights on and lounge windows reasonably open, so I placed a couple of recorders, one out the front of the upstairs flat, and the other at the side below the bedroom window, in the wheel arch of a parked car. This was about 11:30pm.

I checked back every hour, lights still on, occasional laughter. However, it was one of those nights with people being around, lots of parked cars with people in them, (for some probably dubious reasons), so it was hard to pick up my recorders. Its started to get stupidly late, and I debated just leaving them and going early in the morning, but I really don’t want the recorders to be found - They are invisible at night, but not in the day

I eventually gave up, and headed back to get them at 4am, (the things I do for this hobby!). Lights still on at the front, but they were finally in action in the bedroom. I ended up collecting the recorder from the front, and placed it (very obviously) on a wall under their upstairs window, and retreated to under a nearby tree. However, no one was around at this stupid time, so all good.
I waited for them to finish, (probably, but who knows). I picked up the recorders, headed back, but then they carried on, so I dutifully returned, twice . Finally they seemed to reach a quiet crescendo so I grabbed my gear and headed home.
4:30am really!

First file is from outside their window, on the street using the parked car to hid the recorder. First is the raw file, second is using a high pass filter to cut down the wind noise. (I am surprised the wind noise was not worse considering how windy it was, and noise from nearby trees etc)
