Now that so many posters are putting descriptions with their sound file postings, does anyone use any particular software to store them once they've downloaded them?
I'm thinking of some sort of database that holds the sound file along with the textual description and possibly the poster and relevant dates.
I know that I could probably use iTunes, but that just a bit too "public" on a shared computer....

I don´t store the descriptions with the files on my computer but when uploading new files to the archives I copy the descriptions too (they are stored as .txt files).
You could use a software called cuecards which is an easy database - there is a free version available.
The website is German but the software is bilingual (german/english).
