Re: Time for me to add some content
My favorites were the young couple in Edinburgh and also the whispering in the ABD2 recording. Lots of good stuff in your postings...Wow, how do you get so many?!

Re: Time for me to add some content
Thanks for all the kind comments!
This collection has been built up over a long time, but it's been sitting gathering virtual dust on my hard drive.
Living where I used to (Edinburgh city center) there was a vast number of hotels I could take trips to when I fancied capturing some recordings. On top of this, the missus and myself often go away on trips, which is a great opportunity to find more, though it can be hard to explain my absences. Usually I say I feel ill (after a few booze, not too unbelievable) and need some fresh air.
I follow the usual tricks though:
1) Looking for DND signs on doors.
2) Hearing giggling women in the corridor with their man. That's always a promising sign.
3) Having balls of steel.
Luckily, I've not been caught yet, though there's been a few close encounters!
I hope to add some new content soon (with the new phone) so keep tuned.

Absolutely! When the ladies are laughing and getting silly, it usually leads to some extremely intense sessions (and captures).

Re: Time for me to add some content
So would you just walk into a random hotel on a random night and go straight to the elevators? What would you say to staff asking if they can help you? (anyone who does this may answer). I have been roaming the streets at night in the summer but entering random hotels while not being a guest there is a whole different story.ozzie wrote: Living where I used to (Edinburgh city center) there was a vast number of hotels I could take trips to when I fancied capturing some recordings.
Just listened to the edb-xmas again and have to say it must be one of my favorites. Great collection.

The two I went to were big travelodges, really busy at that time of night due to the proximity to pubs. Never had any question from staff, which made things easier. Plus I only ever ended doing this when drunk myself - gave me a sense of courage I'd otherwise lack.

Many great sounds here - I particularely like the Edinburgh ones with their Scottish accent - love that. Great recordings - keep Them coming(!)

Wow, if it wasn't for her screaming 'yes' in that first one I'd have thought you had recorded a murder.
