In the last few days I needed to update some Adobe photographic software and thought the new Adobe Creative Cloud sounded a good deal, so took out a subscription to that. This entitled me to update all my software and I downloaded Audition CS6.
One of the new features it seems to boast is a sound remover. You identify a specific sound, it searches the clip for all examples of it and removes them. Or that's what it sounds like anyway, but I can't find it on my version of CS6. Here's a link to an Adobe video of the effect.

I called Adobe and they seemed a bit evasive about straight answers regarding CS6 and Creative Cloud. I'm not totally sure, but I think the effect will be in a soon to be released new edition called Audition CC.
At least that seems to be an advantage of Creative Cloud, as it won't cost an extra penny to update from the newly acquired CS6. If anyone knows for sure I would appreciate clarification.
Audition CS6 - new features seemed to be missing.

Re: Audition CS6 - new features seemed to be missing.
I have now sorted it and the new feature will be available when Audition CC launches on June 17th. My confusion arose from Adobe Support being vague almost to the point of telling fibs about what's available if you subscribe to Creative Cloud now. I have posted more about Creative Cloud and also how to get a legitimate couple of months use of the latest Auditions versions in the software section.
