Maddy is something of an old flame, and someone I had not seen in quite a while. She was one of the afternoon/early evening bartenders at one of my favorite cocktail joints, and I used to have a huge crush on her (and still do, really). We were never in a relationship per se, but would occasionally go home together after her shift. I ran into her last week when I was out drinking with friends.
While we were sharing drinks she kept apologizing for being older and in less good shape, which was ridiculous. She's in her early 40s now, but she still looks amazing. By the end of the night we ended up reliving old times, and it was great. A lot of my lovers these days are into more athletic, break the bed kind of sex; it was nice to have a slower, grind-ier, different kind of intensity for an evening.
