First time recording of wife

I've been trying for a long time to get a decent recording of the wife, and finally managed to get a couple of files. This is the 2nd one, and by far the better of the 2. It's taken me a while to get round to editing it down (it was about 20 minutes long originally), and i've taken out all the really quiet parts, and the talking in between. As this is my first, I'd be happy to hear what you think of both the recording, and trying to capture my wife on the microphone as best I could.
This was recorded using the voice memo's on my iphone, and with little background interference (phone was about 4-5 feet away). The other recording has some background noise from an A/C unit, so not sure how well it will turn out.

Thanks everyone, appreciate all the comments. Doesn't happen very often that I can get a recording, so I'm pleased that I could give something back to the community. I'll try and do a different edit with some of the in between sounds/talking if they are clear (i was tired that morning, so there were gaps in the 3 bursts of energy lol). The 2nd recording is really noisy with the A/C, so when I get time i'll work on that a bit.
