Ever had problems in a hotel?
I just have, to the extent that they phoned the manager and called in 2 extra staff (small hotel with one receptionist) because guests were complaining that I was wandering the corridors.

Never heard of this but often thought it could happen to me. Especially as more and more hotels have cams installed on the floors. What did the manager do, what did you reply?

Re: Ever had problems in a hotel?
I got 'busted' once by hotel security in Thailand (of all places..ha).
Had placed a recorder at the doorsil foot of one of the rooms.. which happened to have an adjoining indoor balcony/window type area. Room was at the end of the hall.. so thought i was 'safe'. So as I loitered there.. the noise from my target room caught the attention of the hotel security and they wandered down the hallway and sure enough spotted my recorder (unfortunately was not disquised or placed in an inconspicuous location). They picked up the recorder, looked at it for a few seconds, then put it right back down by the door..lol. Then they peeked around the corner and spotted me.. but I played like I was asleep/passed out drunk. They mumbled something in thai to each other and left. Think I better stick to the self-recordings since my stealth-mode sucks..ha.

Re: Ever had problems in a hotel?
Basically, the manager came up to my room and knocked on the door and told me that other guests had complained about me wandering the corridors. I explained that I was trying to surf the web with my phone but couldn't get decent reception (I use the recorder on my phone so I tend to wander around with it in my hand). He did and said nothing more, but it stopped my wanders.
