This couple checked-in ahead of me on Tuesday evening. I noted their room number and as soon as I reached my room, headed for theirs with recorder in hand. Low and behold they were already quietly gasping, which was pretty impressive as they'd only been in there for ten minutes at most!
An hour or so later I went back and they were at it again.
Attractive quiet couple.

Loved the anticipation of these ones - lots of time wondering "are they... what's that... are they...". Almost as good as being there waiting.

This starts out subtle but gets pretty good. Quiet but you can hear her moaning.. Was that the wind in the background?

Yeah it was the wind, I'm afraid.
I fully understand the poor response to this one. It's not one of my better catches but things have been a bit quiet lately, despite staying in plenty of hotels. Some aspects of my new job are making it difficult to make recordings. Last week I was in the Tel Aviv Hilton which was dead posh and a really nice place to stay but the place is built like a fortress - thick walls, thick doors, thick carpets, and cameras everywhere, so recording the neighbours (or even hearing them) just wasn't going to happen.
And this week I'm in a Marriott in an equally exotic place. Again, lovely hotel but not at all conjusive to our hobby.
Hopefully things'll pick up again soon.

Amen to that frustration. Missed out on a heap of potential lately for almost the exact opposite reason to yours. Shitty hotels, likely the right nights and mornigs, perfect for our hobby but a shoestring budget often dictates shared rooms. There's only so many times one can pop out to make a phonecall or take a stroll before his lowly companions start to suspect he's up to no good...LeStanf wrote:I fully understand the poor response to this one. Still think there's a lot of reward in listening to these longer captures with sporadic signs of action - people don't know what they're missing.
Fingers crossed for you picking up again soon

Agree. These longer, fainter captures from two rooms down the hall are the real deal. It can be so much more realistic and rewarding then some of the arranged captures, including the chatting and laughing too.sc0tt-uk wrote:there's a reward in listening to these longer captures with sporadic signs of action - people don't know what they're missing.
