My first recording - Hotel in Kopenhagen - 22.02.14

I 've been a long time member of this forum and I am always looking forward to new posts. But one thing is clear: This forum can only work permanently, even if new members are willing and trying to post own contributions . This weekend, I was in Copenhagen for 2 nights and I was willing to record something. On the first evening I went three hours permanently through all the floors but unfortunately without any result. Although most of the rooms were occupied, people seemed to prefer looking TV. In the second night I wanted to give up after 2 hours. But on my way back I heard a soft moanings next to my room. I took out my LG phone and I placed it in front of the door. Believe me, I was so excited and felt my heart pounding fast as I had a great fear of being discovered. As I said before it was my first attempt. But since it was already 2 clock and I had a good overview, I decided to continue. Now or never I 've never done it before and I 'm surprised how good the sound result is. I am very pleased today to be able to make this contribution to the forum as a kind of payback. I would like to motivate others also to try, so that our collection will become bigger and bigger. Enjoy, I think its not too bad.

Believe me, I was so excited and felt my heart pounding fast as I had a great fear of being discovered.

I know this feeling but for me, listening to a real couple is what lets me be so excited, more than the fear of being discovered.

I think it was an American couple. After I stopped recording I heart a bit of conversation. I didn't see the couple, but the man had a very deep voice. Next morning when I had breakfast I tried to figure out which couple I could have recorded. I'm pretty sure that I have recognized his voice. It was a couple in their late 40ies. She had long blonde wavy hair. Both were slim.

Congrats on your first recording. I completely understand how you felt when you first
happened upon this couple. I know the Feeling of the blood pounding, every hair
on your neck standing up--sometimes in a hotel you cannot quite tell door the Sound
is coming from. Other times,everytime you hear something, someone has tocome out
into the hall. I hope you will have more chances to record.
