Hi,
Last week I arrived at my hotel after work quite early - about 5.30 pm. A few minutes after reaching my room I realised I'd left my phone in the car, so I wen down to collect it. My timing was absolutely perfect! As I opened the door I was confronted by a rather handsome, besuited young chap carrying two drinks on a small tray to the room opposite. Almost in synchronism with my door opening, the door opposite swung open to reveal a very attractive, tall, lingerie-clad, dark haired woman, who smiled broadly as he entered the room.
The purpose for my journey suddenly changed! There were other people heading for their rooms a few metres along the corridor, meaning I couldn't go back into my room to get my recorder without attracting suspicion, so I headed along the corridor and walked a loop back to my room via the floor below.
It must have taken little more than two or three minutes to do this but by the time I returned to the room opposite with my recorder, there were already gentle moans from behind the door.
The action was split into two parts, with a gap during which they had a long conversation and, presumably, drank the drinks. They mentioned each other by name several times and talked about their families, making it obvious they were having a quicky after work before going home. I have spliced this out of the recording to protect them - I may be a pervert but I'm not a home wrecker.
About 6.40 I heard the door open and the lady left, this time dressed in business attire. I watched from the window as she walked to her car and drove off. A couple of minutes' later the man did the same, leaving the room empty for the rest of the night.

thanks for the story, it adds so much value to the recording. Just one question, If it was that early evening, how could you record them without interruption? or was it just luck?

Hi Audio,
I made the catch by placing a small USB recorder at the base of their door. They are tiny, cost about £10 and look a lot like USB data keys. As you can hear in the recording, there was a lot of corridor traffic but nobody spotted the recorder.
They're not quite invisible though. I have lost a couple of them over the last year as people have spotted them. One of these had three captures on it that I'd made over the course of the evening. I'm not all that upset about losing the recorders but I'm I still feel pretty miffed about losing those recordings.

thanks for this valueable tip. I may try one of these but since I seldom travel, I use my 'big' quality Olympus Recorder for my neighbours at home.

Nice post. Lots of unusual 'slaps/claps'. I am not sure if he had come by the end. I thought that she was 'going down' to help him finish. Might be wrong there, though?

Clever on the small USB drives. I'm always nervous about using my cell and it being linked back to me if I did try to hide it and somebody was to take it.
