Hi,
i have a question and i hope that it was not discussed before. I'm sometimes in situations when i visit a sex party (swingerclub etc.) with my wife and have my smartphone with me or another recorder stuff. The problem ist that the background music is often very loud in these situations, so it's difficult to catch the great moans of "true" sex between couples. Normally i use Audacity and set highpass filter to 300 in order to remove bass. Also other filters like bass-filter work quite ok, but the results are not really good. So, do you have some hints for me how to improve my work? Currently the results are not worth for an upload.

This may work to some extent.
cut the file up into background music songs, so each file is one song long.
Find a clean copy of the song that is playing over one file(from a CD or whatever). Load that and tag all of it. open the noise removal feature and load the entire song in as the noise profile. Now, load up the file with the song in it and see if you can remove the noise.
I have NOT tried this and it may not be possible to maintain the noise sample from one file to another, and you may need to try and tweak the level of the clean song to match the recording.
The filter should have at least a little slop in it and hopefully it will do a decent job canceling the same out of your file.
