Finally Got It

So, some months ago, I was walking around and was sidestepping a puddle, which put me close to a unit's window, and I heard some stuff. I was trying to fumble with my recorder, only to find it didn't record. I started working with my phone to salvage something, and noticed somebody came out to their patio. Had to abandon this time.

Couple weeks later, saw the couple walking to their unit together. Young, girl is brunette with long hair, 5'6ish, slender, very cute.

So, needless to say, I passed by this unit quiet frequently for a repeat. Took months, but finally got them. Unfortunately, they're pretty quiet. They're in a corridor of units, and I placed my phone on the fence right outside their window. It was tricky because I didn't want to get caught, and there was a light on the opposing wall that could cast my shadow into their window. The fence is only to the level of my eyes, so the top of my head could be peeking over as well... so it was pretty stressful. Sounds like they finish, then a neighbor starting coming down the corridor so I took off rather quickly, but they were obviously done.

Interestingly, given the angle, the recording is more clear than what I heard with my ears. Would be great if somebody could clean up the ambient noise and repost!

I can hear them only from Minute 3 but the action is quite nice, I wish you could get into their corridor and record them from the door.

The recording couldn't have been any closer really. Phone was about 4-5 feet out in front of their window. Window is behind their gated patio, so I'd have to open their gate to get any closer, and there wouldn't be anything at the right height to set my recorder on.

Good capture, under difficult conditions. Well done. Very quite for the first 3m or so, but then nice bursts of action; the energetic 'cricket' chirping in the background lends authenticity to the mode of capture.
