My opinion is that it was wrong to lay into the guy for expressing his opinion that this is fake, end of. Contributors should not have hissy fits if they get negative feedback..that's the nature of the beast.. Oh and for the guy to claim discrimination is frankly ridiculous and borderline libelous. And another thing when is this contributor V lurker rubbish going to end! As contributors i admire you all, it must be amazing to be in a position to record stuff and i hope to one day myself.. But as a so called lurker does that mean i have no place here?? i hope not.. I guess if we lurkers weren't here it would be a case of trees falling in the forest with noone around.. I'm just a lurker, but I'm a sexually active woman in a wheelchair. I can understand why the OP might feel that way. As a sexually active cripple, I have had a lot of... bad experiences when people find out. Either they think I don't please my husband, that its 'gross' that he wants me sexually, call it a lie, abusive, and many other things. So when its something you have to face often, sometimes you might assume someone is talking down to you simply because of that. We shouldn't, but sometimes its hard not to react that way when its a type of discrimination that has affected you personally.

I promise you that the person who runs this place and his wingmen have some of the least elitist attitudes I've ever encountered on a forum. There's no such thing as a contributer V lurker divide here. Some of the most informative discussions here have been started and/or massively enhanced by people who haven't posted actual sounds, either because they don't have the opportunity or aren't comfortable sharing the sounds of their nearest and dearest. If you're joining in the discussions, that still counts as a contribution and makes you more than a lurker. Lurking isn't even a problem in and of itself... I mean, lurking is distinctly different from leaching, right? So long as you're not pissing anyone off, then believe me, you're welcome. Enjoy, and join in to whatever extent you feel comfortable.
