No, you are absolutely right in many ways! We do feel like we are accessing a more 'real' voyeuristic experience than many of the videos that are available out there. You're right in saying the visual can be better but, as in the case of erotic fiction, imagination can often be more powerfully erotic than the blanks that video or a photograph tends to fill.
