Cuts through the air like a knife--all of a sudden everything changes, the atmosphere becomes electric.

Did I really hear...? There it is again. Your pulse accelerates, straining to hear over the blood pounding in your ears. The cries regular now, unmistakable, the bedsprings take up the rhythm so you can time every thrust...the despairing groan of the male as he empties into her.

I agree. I like the chatting and giggling before, and than the first little Ohhhhhh and the entire atmosphere changes and becomes electric. Your heart starts pounding. You hope they can not hear it against the wall.
