Room 207 - Two Through-Wall Captures

Same couple - different times.

One about 2AM and the shorter but louder file at 9AM ..

Gangbanger and girlfriend - so I was too chicken to slide a recorder under their door..

Edit: Fixed files to eliminate loud handling noise at end of each - you can now listen through the end with ear buds without worrying!

WARNING: if you're listening to these with the volume cranked, be ready to turn the volume down in the final 10 seconds or so of each file. The noise of the recorder being collected and stopped is A LOT louder than the action you're straining to hear more of. SSL cannot be held responsible if your ears fall off

I've said this in another thread recently, but I'll say it again. Love this through-wall type stuff. Sometimes I prefer it to the action taken from under the door. I think that this way, you can get more of a sense of how the intensity changes throughout, and with a decent recording like this, it's a lot like being there from the perspective of a listener, whereas under the door gives you more of a perspective of being in the room. Different strokes for different folks of course, but I really enjoyed these. Thanks for the post.

Thanks Scott!! Later I will open in Audacity and try to get rid of those parts and repost.. Otherwise if anyone can do sooner feel more than free to do so!

Thank you for posting the files, and also thank you for fixing them. I normally have some kind of compression going so if it gets too loud that tempers it, but thanks for the warning Scott.

its amazing that one can hear quite a lot through the wall.. did you use a special wall-listening-device or an ordinary recorder?
