Adobe audition for editing, I bought adobes creative suite for my photography and audition was included. It used to be called cool edit pro befor adobe bought them out.

I just joined, and when I click on DOWNLOAD, I get a blank Internet Explorer screen.

Hmm... may be if you have a popup blocker, it is blocking your download. Maybe try turning any blockers off and repeat. If not... unsure what the issue may be
