Tried to organize this setup a few years ago when there was a good personal ads site running in my city. From memory, I got four replies that actually lead to some listening, but I remember being certain that at least 3 of those were just someone blasting porn down the line at me in the hope of hearing something genuine by return phone call lol. I was the person making the call once, but never got to listen in return that time.

Nowadays, that ads site is closed down, but the technology has gotten better in other ways. Facetime audio for example sounds waaaaay better than Skype. It's tied to an email address, which could also easily be anonymous.

Much more recently, I thought I'd struck lucky with a setup like this when I was asked to be an alibi for an ex of mine while she ducked out to hook up with someone without her hubby knowing. She already knows about my little audio hobby, and I think her husband is a total dick, so I figured I'd gamble and said "sure, I'll be your cover story if I can listen in". At first she was skeptical, then a couple days later I got a message saying that the idea had grown on her a lot. Unfortunately, the dude she was planning to hook up with got too intense too soon for her liking and all bets were off. We left it that it'd be an idea we'd revisit in future though if the right opportunity presents itself.

So in conclusion, here this has been a case of a nice idea, but tricky to get going.
