Out one night (11:30pm) and heard this from the sidewalk. Apartments are up on a slope, so there's a retainer wall that I was able to stand on and record this with my recorded under my armpit with my arms crossed over my chest. I always keep an ear out here as I've heard other couples in this window cluster facing the street. They were going at it for a while, not sure how much of it the microphone picked up because it was quite a distance up and back. Had some bad luck with recording this cluster in the past, and thought I'd give it a shot from this angle, though.
Was going well enough until somebody came out to take their dog for a pee. And I looked like a dumbass standing on the wall, pretending to be watching for a car, and hoping the couple didn't make any obvious sounds.
Enjoy.

Great, I like the window lurkers.
What's all the running about? Sounds like you moved half a mile

Re: Up and Away
does it mean you were running away when a resident came and arrived back some minutes later to resume your recording?

Re: Up and Away
Hah, I should probably listen to these before I post them. So the first time I heard this spot, I tried running up around (again it's up on a hill) to see if I could get a better recording from closer to the unit, but it didn't work. This time I did it again thinking for sure it'd sound better, but since they were upstairs, there was almost nothing from the closer spot (the setup is really difficult to explain... There is iron rod fencing that doesn't let you get close to the actual windows), so I went back down to the original location at the sidewalk and retainer wall. Running as to make sure I didn't miss much of the action.
Somebody want to edit out all the nothingness and running, would probably be better. If somebody can do that for me (I have no desire to), a mod should delete my original so I don't sound like as big of a dumbass.

hey, it takes some stones to stand out there trying to catch one of these. Thank you for giving it your best shot.
