zip files on Win 10
I'm trying to listen to Stingrays files. Apparently, on Windows 10, 7Zip doesn't work. It says its not supported, neither is any other media player. Is there a solution.

Re: zip files on Win 10
Hi IBTCHunny,
there are a few answers / solutions to your problem:
- 7zip isn´t a media player but a software to compress and decompress files.
- The 7zip website (http://www.7-zip.org/) says it works on Windows 10. Maybe you need to install a newer version.
- you don´t need 7zip to extract the files, any software that can handle zip files will do. In Windows 7 and Windows 8 you can open these files directly and extract them. I guess that won´t have changed in Windows 10?
- After the switch to the new server, all files will be in the archives as media files, no need to handle zip-files anymore. The switch should be done within the next hours.
If you can wait for a few hours more, you will be able to listen to Stingrayplayer´s recordings hassle-free.
