on the hotel thing ...my strategy is to cover valentines day, easter and bank holidays. I figure I will get lucky at some point, and especially over summer when the windows will tend to be open. I have chosen a room at the back of the hotel where windows will more likely be open as it will be quieter than at the front where there is traffic.
as to types of hotels, the last one I tried was a 3 star. now in general London hotels aren't great if you are going mid/low grade....small, all manner of people, beds are not comfy. so this time I am trying a nice/romantic type 4 star where the walls are according to tripadvisor thin enough to sounds to be heard. Not too pricy, but generous enough for the boyfriend of a London based couple to have made an effort for the holiday, or foreign visitors (tripadvisor shows the volume of guests who visit the hotel). most seem to be from france and Italy although the preponderance is English.
Girls there will hopefully be on the classier side. I like classier girls who are polite and who moan (unconsciously or not) a lot when they are enjoying themselves
what do you think of this setup. I have bought a König&Meyer 233s microphone stand and mounted on it my Olympus LS3 directly beside my matraze. This means the action can be recorded from a close distant eg. a couple of centimerters (inches) away. Do you think its too offensive?
My girlfriend Ingrid came tonight and she asked me about it. I told her that its an Audio Recorder (true) that I use to catch thoughts that appear during the night (untrue) She was OK with it and didn't ask any further questions. Unfortuntaley, this time she didn't go into the bathromm before we started to have sex like she usually does and I had no chance to activate the recorder without her notice. Maybe I shoul have started it before she arrived but since we talk for a while and the microphone can only record 1 Hour 30 minutes in the highest wav quality I didn't press the record button before her arrival.

Ingrid and me don't have a steady relationship, we sometimes meet for sex, thats all.
