Re: Happy New Year eveyone!
Hello,
A VERY belated happy new year to everyone.
I was “down under” over NY, staying in Sydney’s eastern suburbia. A great time, especially as it is their summer. Despite a few midnight wanders around the neighbourhood I did not hear anything even on the humid days. I guess ppl had windows shut and the aircon on. Nor sadly did I capture a thing during a few days in a Melbourne hotel. The hotel I choose (selected based on reliably thin walls) was not full but unfort I was not in the country long enough to stay for the tennis when occupancy was expected to be higher. The day I left I noticed young ie late teens to mid 20s athletes arriving too ;( I cannot tell you how disappointed I was (still am!), as I have a obsession for Australian girls, especially the high-maintenance ones….
However I have just booked my valentines day hotel in london. What are people’s views on the weekend as Val day falls mid week. do you couples will celebrate on the weekend before or after (or both equally good?). for now I have booked for weekend after. Prices seem to be higher both that weekend and on the weekend prior.
Best,
J
