Park Sex Under Bears blanket

So this one was a good news, bad news situation.

I had my recorder slip out of my pocket (I'm a reporter and take it wherever I go) when I was laying on the grass at the park just before dusk. I left and realized that I had lost it, and started to retrace my steps. I had been in a couple of different spots in the park, and when I went back to the final spot I saw a couple having sex underneath a Chicago Bears blanket. The area was extremely well lit, and so even though I wanted to hang around and listen I decided it was best to hang out in another spot in the park, and then go look for the recorder once I saw them leave.

A short time later it looked like some kids passing through the park interrupted them, and after a few minutes they started to get dressed and left. So I went to look for the recorder. The spot was right under a tree, and it was quite dark in that exact spot (even though it was fairly bright in the area immediately around them. The flashlight I had brought along had died, and so I was left to feeling along the ground for the recorder. The grass was extremely long, and I was unable to locate it. After about 20 minutes of searching the sprinklers came on and I abandoned my search.

The good news: the next morning I went to the park to search for the recorder in the daylight and found it! But to my surprise, I had somehow left the recorder on voice activation mode, and it recorded the whole thing! Incredibly, it sounds like the recorder was right near their heads, as they fucked on the grass.

The bad news: although I was able to transfer the files off of the recorder, it appears to be non-functional in all other aspects. It was a $100 piece. It was actually my backup as I had just bought a newer, better one, but still it's a shame that my flashlight went out and I couldn't find it before it was ruined.

I realize that none of you care about all of that, but I had to share.

Now for the file. It is extremely clear. Some good stuff. He keeps telling her to be quiet. Too bad they got interrupted.

What a great capture! Sorry for the loss of the equipment, but at least you got something out of it.

What a story and great sound recording!

Though I should say sorry for the lost device, I had to smile somewhat because your adventure reminded me of something similar that happened to me during vacations in Italy two years ago.

I left my recorder unattended outside at night where I thought would be a good place for catching some action (beneath a couple´s bedroom window). When I came back to take it with me, the device wasn´t were I left it although I crawled around searching for it. Somebody else must have taken it ... did I get busted?

Well, similar story, different good news, bad news outcome. On the next morning I found the device lying on our patio table. The caretaker woman must have found it while watering the garden the last night, the device was still wet but working. This was the good part. I could only hope that she did not notice it was recording. At least she wasn´t able to listen to a sexsounds recording as nothing recordable happened that night ... which was the bad part.

That is a major bummer about the recorder but if it's any consolation that is one of the best outdoor captures I've ever heard and I've been listening for a long long time. So at least you've got something memorable out of it. Thanks for sharing.

I just listened to this recording, this is basically my dream capture. I hope to be able to capture something this good outdoors someday.

It's bad news about the recorder for sure but it was quite a fortunate circumstance in other regards. It happened to slip out near where the couple ended up (in a well lit area), they didn't notice the recorded, the recorder was of higher quality than us folks would usually leave around unattended.

This was a dream capture for me too and inspired me to catch a couple of others at this same park. Unfortunately, I lost this file and all the others when my laptop died. Morale of the story...backup your precious files. lol.

Unfortunately I'm too old to spend time at night at the parks these days. Occasionally get a couple of captures in hotel when I travel, but I must instead live vicariously through the rest of you.

It's in the archive as the file is from 2011. Was a good file though, considering it was almost a chance/fluke record.
