I'm new here. I'm unclear about how to upload files. I have approximately up to ten. What do I press to upload something from my own computer?

Hello Sktlr, welcome to the community.
You could have essily found an answer to your question in the Know-how section of the board.
To upload a file, just do what you did here (in the appropriate subforum): write your message, describe what we are going to hear and then take a look below the text-editor: You will find a tab saying "upload attachment". Then choose the file(s), click add file and when the uploading process finished, don´t forget to send the message. Files can also be added by moving them into the text field with your computer mouse.
You can attach up to 3 files to a single message, each one not bigger than 32mb.

Before I do, may I ask, is this website "above board" and is it legal for me to actually post these sounds?
I got them the normal way by, effectively, standing outside of some rooms etc.

What do you mean above board?
All sounds here are from that way. It is illegal to record through covert devices and posting anything that involves minors. Plus we love personal talk but people edit out personal extensive details of couples if they in recordings.

Yes, that´s close to what I´d have answered, too. The rules thread(s) viewforum.php?f=47 are a little more detailled if you´re interested. Of course there is no legal guarantee or any juristic advice I can give you but we think it is save if you record sounds that are audible from outside a room or if all participants agreed.

I decided to go ahead and post one anyway.
Above board is a legal term that lawyers use to mean 'standard procedure' without it being documented in a legal agreement. Ever since I heard a lawyer use it once, I can't get it out of my head.
