I NEED HELP WITH OPENING FILES

Post by Shadyone »

I got an issue im hoping someone could help me with. okay so, recently ive purchased a membership. I downloaded some files from the archive, listened to a few and was hoping to have a chance to listen more another time. not the case... idk if its a problem on my end, with the program im using, or what? anyway, every time a new file starts I need to enter a password, which is fine... but after a few days of not being opened (sound files and app used to play), my password and/or username no longer work for the previously DL files. I tried to DL some new files, same thing, not able to get clearance to actually listen to the audio file... im using windows media player btw. I enter username and password 2 times per file and it still never lets me play them??

Shadyone, there is not a single file in the archive that is password protected, so if you need to enter a password when opening a file, you probably don´t play them from your device but from the online source.

To begin, I´ve got a few questions:
You said that you download the files and play them in windows media player but can it be that you visit the archive with the media player?
Please describe the way you download.
Which types are the downloaded files, mp3 or m3u?

I just tried to reproduce the problem ... windows media player opened files downloaded to my pc without asking for a password but when I use this player to stream them online, it needs username and passwords.
