Just wondering though when i pay for a monthly subscription can i cancel whenever? Also are all the sounds just strictly downloadable? Could i just listen to em without downloading a big ol file everytime?

I am not sure about the subscription, but I am pretty sure that Yeppie will work with you. As far as the files go, that depends on your hardware, some hardware can play mp3 streams (most of the files are in mp3 format). At the end of the day, you wind up downloading the file if you stream it, you just don't retain a copy of it for future, um, reference.

Cancelling is easy and possible anytime. You just visit the subscription page and choose the "member service" link. If you visit the archive with a computer, you can always choose between downloading and streaming the sounds (when they are in mp3 format) ... for streaming you have to be logged in, of course, downloaded files can be played *forever*.
