Are these good spots in terms of couples staying at or no?

In my experience yes. Many couples seem to stay at airport hotels because they have early flights the next morning. They turn in early (7.30 - 8.00 pm) and are usually in a good mood.

Check out hotel booking websites like TripAdvisor, look for hotels with lots of good reviews from couples.
