this might help:
i just set up a ftp account and subdirectory for files to be edited. anybody with files that he want to upload to be edited by other members should just send an email or pm me and i will give the username and password required.
when uploading sounds to that folder, please upload a simple textfile, too, containing the necessary information about the sound and what else the editor(s) should know (story, your user name, ...).
and don´t forget to give us a hint that a new editing-job is waiting. the community forum seems to be a good place for such a message.

I'm still using an old FTP program called WS_FTP95 LE and it's
quite imited if the FTP are using newer stuff that is unknown.
I'm using WS_FTP95 LE for my homepage only and so far
no problem in Windows Vista 32-bit.
Also from now on I have 2 e-mail addresses

I thought maybe while you are busy producing new exciting songs,
I can have some fun cutting and cleaning etc. All are welcome to
send me originals "too big for dowload", "uncut" etc. on each one of
the addresses above AND the server because are still for yeppie.org
and when I'm done I'll upload everything to the server to make it
available for all members. Then we speak and talk technical or
whatever. The originals will always remain on my harddisk
and special discs only for personal use. I do because I'm lojal
and nobody in sweden seems to be like me anyway

well, the initial offer (first message in this thread) was thought for members of the community who don´t know how to edit their recordings. i don´t have any new files to present at the moment, so nothing to edit from here.
as i own adobe audition i usually do this work myself but sometimes would have needed the expertise of someone more experienced than me.
