AM is funny here. I think many come in drunk from the clubs and just go to sleep right away - only to make up for it when waking up. I’m finding 7-10 AM is a sweet spot for doing walk through. After 10 it’s dicey with housekeeping and floor supervisors starting their rounds. By then I have my more visible bots removed and only leave the best-concealed in place to snag noises from the really late stragglers. The live capture of couple H was around 11AM

LeStanf, I was far from disappointed! I just prefer to be there in person than not - and I had some good ones both nights and mornings although I would have of course enjoyed more! To me human sex sounds are amazing in real life - sort of like wood instruments. You can get excellent recordings, but there is a texture of experience that’s missing.
I was very happy with what the bots captured! Couple G especially. Almost like space program. The glory is in manned exploration, but the vast amount of experience and enjoyment still comes from the rugged little robots NASA, ESA, Роскосмос, JAXA, and CNSA have poking around the solar system.

Incidentally, stayed over last night as well. No captures. Only two plants, and one was seized by hotel counterespionage agents. Bastards. Have three more being delivered by Amazon tomorrow in time for Wednesday night.

From your recordings, it seemed as if the AM make-tender-love hour was only a european thing. I was always perplexed at least why the americans never woke up for morning nookie. Here are you getting multiple recordings per trip but once a while stumbling on the morning round. Then there was Lestanf who seems to get a morning capture every time.

I think you might be right, these are young couples after a raunchy drunk night out and they probably get up after 12pm. If they get around to the naughty its either to late because the corridors are busy or it could be checkout time.

On the other hand, British mornings in the colder months tend to be dreary and dull. Usually raining and without sunlight, probably not the case in Cali. So all the more reason to stay in for a bit after breakfast.

To me, morning AM sex just after waking up is probably one of the most intimate moments to experience. Something magical about it. I'd rather have a one morning stand than a one night stand

I'm even willing to be that the AM captures made this round exceed possibly months of previous trips.

I'm sure if you have heard by now but there is a lot of dialog by couple C at the end of their recording. I'm not saying it right now because I don't want to ruin what they say to those who might listen to it after reading this post. Kinda pains me to think what else went on and how long more did they go on. If only a USB could have been planted.

OMG gekko, what a brilliant catch you have again!!! A real genius at work. Would you please post the link where you get your USBs from. Mine are really bad a picking up static when left, and I can't stomach listening to 8 hours of white noise only to find I haven't captured a single noise. Or is it down to your editing that your sounds are so good ?many thanks again

Never under doors! Technically that is in the room and puts the recorder owner into a wiretapping category with some very grim legal and financial consequences.
Also violates our forum rules!
I admit the mics are very close, but still in the corridor so cannot be accused of planting room bugs. So different concealments are used greatly helped with 3m double face tape. But all sounds we record are what one hears in the hallway

Imagine this: You live in a house with wooden floors and thin doors with a reasonable door gap which only provides visual privacy. Soundproofing is visually non-existent which means you can probably hear the other person's pulse.

Could you expect a reasonable level of privacy if there is virtually no sound proofing? All you need to do is go on a hotel reviews websites like trip advisor and search for "thin walls". Customers often complain about loud talking from other rooms in cheap/budget hotels. It isn't necessarily limited to someone getting their socks off. And if they are getting their socks off, is it your problem that they are loud enough that you can hear them?

"under door" here means you have placed a mic close to the door gap of the room. Not that you slipped it inside their door. Most places don't have that level of clearance to slip a recorder inside, anyway, and if there is, the sound is about the same. Plus I'm not the only one who thinks recording outside give more of an authenticity to the capture.

The only places you could reasonably expect 99% sound proofing and privacy is in upscale hotels and upscale housing. When you are paying big money, you expect it.

Ive been to places like the 4 seasons and they don't have sound proofing walls or doors. But you'd expect it if you were paying 800 dollars a night.
