I'm not sure if you are requesting access to the archives, but if you are, then creating your own thread might be appropriate.

When you wrote "what do you think about me?" what else should we understand than you asking for archive access in somebody else´s thread? Maybe spammy wasn´t the perfect wording but it points to the right direction.

Of course you are welcome to say thanks or use the like button as often as you´d like to. You seem to be a friendly and benevolent person, and I am sure, phyicist isn´t always wrong with you but he is interested and takes care for the community.

it was to make the comparison with his registration date and the number of messages and likes ... I have more than him and I do not even ask! It's just not to discourage him ... but you all see it in a way that is too personal ... as I did not say .. I do not even want to have access to your archive or all fight for access ... no importance ... you think I'm doing this to gain access ... you're wrong! shame !

Ugh. Yeppie and thomas31, I apologise to you in advance for this brief hijack, I didn't intend to respond but I must. But I think spaceworld has the potential to be a great user so I just want to explain something.

Spaceworld, I understand English isn't a strong language but I think you will understand what I'm trying to say. I will try to keep it simple.

No user here cares about "likes" or the registration date. We really don't judge on how many likes you have. The "like" button was only implemented recently. In order for anyone to care about likes, this community would need at least a thousand regular members but we don't have that many. We are not like reddit. I would advise you to not care about likes.

For example, I could like everyone one of thomas31 posts and he would have more likes than you, but they really doesn't matter. I don't think the board cares about likes. I have only seen you mention "likes" as important twice. You can continue to mention them, but again I'm saying, it really doesn't make a difference at this moment who has more likes.

People in this community do care about contributions and attitude. We all want everyone to get along with each other. So please don't try to be defensive when someone makes a suggestion, they don't mean to hurt you. They all want this community to be better and more active. Telling yeppie, the administrator of this forum, "you're wrong" and "shame" doesn't exactly give a good impression.

You should also be aware of what you post and why you post in a thread. Sometimes a thread like this for requests does not need a reply from anyone except the admin. There is no need to thank anyone here.

I get it, english isn't very strong for you and that sometimes is a barrier but its ok, we have always had users where their english wasn't very good. If you haven't understood anything properly, please ask. We always try and be helpful.

If someone fights or is rude, yeppie always comes to help. It is thanks to him we have this forum.

it really doesn't make a difference at this moment who has more likes.

you do it though when a member requests access! you take it into account ... messages, years, likes

but I have no problem with all that..
