I'm still bewildered why there aren't more college dorm recordings. If you go to reddit, the stories you'll read will make you believe its impossible that we don't have regular dorm captures on this forum. If the stories are to be believed, there should be one new capture everyday of the year.

Personally this would be more like a nightmare for me ... but tastes differ, thankfully and I would be glad to install a new category would there be significant activities.

I've got another one for you. Same couple. Unfortunately car parked next to my recorder and there was a lot of noise I had to remove (5min) which probably disturbed the foreplay :-/

Can anyone recommend any small recorders with good quality mics? I want to start recording again but my Sony is too big to use at the moment. Need to wait for some grass and weeds to grow near their windows then I can plant my recorder

Rubbish - first, the article states the majority of the killings took place inside a drug dealer's house, secondly, all of them took place in downtown Cancun that has always been bad - for decades. The reporter could just as easily warn to avoid Los Angeles due to killings in Watts - which is just as 'near' Santa Monica, Venice and other major beaches and tourist spots - or NYC due to mafia killings, or London because people get killed in London Fields Estate.

I went there last September in the middle of alerts from the US State dept regarding cartel activity and crime - and had a fantastic time. A friend of mine and her husband were there the week before. All of us were more concerned that week about nearby hurricanes that were hitting Florida and the Caribbean..

That's a lot of killings, though, for a very small city - think of number of murders per unit area - Los Angeles and London
are massive cities in comparison. For me, personally, it wouldn't be much of a holiday knowing that I couldn't venture
outside of Cancun's Hotel District for fear of being robbed at gunpoint, or worse, murdered. I've always been an explorer;
I've always liked to see as many sites as possible. There's no way I'd shut myself inside a tourist area - that's almost as
bad as being trapped on a cruise ship - not for me.

In Antigua the best hotels are in gated communities. Real shame. But lots of poverty and bitterness on the island. And scowls. A disappointment and fake luxury. Unsettling. Dont advise a trip.

In the first recording you can hear someone walk by and decide to wait and listen. I really like those kind of recordings mate, well done! Where is this, US?

It's UK. I think they guy is black, tall. There are many couples there, but I heard one other day and her voice was very similar to the girl from the recording, so I think it's them.
Girl is short, skinny, black hair, late 20s, white. She is pretty, not a high educated girl, at least doesn't sound like that. I had few recordings when didn't catch any action, but there was a lot of dialogue. Seems like she likes to drink quite a lot

It's actually the opposite. Cancun downtown is pretty small; hotel row is huge and a completely different world. You have no perception of being in a protective enclave or tourist ghetto.

You have to go out of your way there to get into trouble; the cartels aren't going onto the peninsula to terrorize anybody.
