So I don't want to disclose exactly where - but it wasn't my usual spot. Saw the cams and thought they were just for data recording - wrong! Live guy was monitoring and eventually confronted me. But.. did not detect any of my plants. So went to bed and woke up late enough where I thought he'd be gone with a shift change - and retrieved all before checking out and leaving!


Shame because my impression and from talking to the valet, this is even more sex date oriented boutique than my place downtown LA. The cameras ruin it and one confrontation with security is plenty to have me looking elsewhere - at least for a few months until the heat dies. I doubt if wandering the corridors aimlessly will put me on a list. However, if any of you are visiting LA and want to pick up where I left off - and can adjust your visible actions knowing there are live cameras, let me know and I will PM you the name and location of the hotel.

Couple A:
Saw them leaving their room to go out. He was tall, American athletic; she had sandy blonde hair - also tall with athletic figure with soft edges, and was wearing a tan stretchy one piece dress..

Didn't see her. Saw him when he was getting ice. Average height; brown hair; early twenties.; white. She sounded young twenties; white.

Heard them chattering away before their date; when they left room; both white; late twenties. He had a mustache and sport coat. She was white; avg height and wearing nice business skirt, blouse and jacket. Strawberry blonde hair.

Stay safe. Glad to hear that they did not see anything. Long ago when you could still get high powered laser pointers int he US easily I was at a taco bell and I nailed the camera but good. One of the employees saw it, I played dumb like I was just a moron kid, but he shot me a smile. I don't think they liked them any more than I did.

awesome recordings. I guess a suggestion would be to avoid any hotel that has cameras in all the corridors on all the floors. Ive noticed most places have them only on the first floor specifically looking at entrance and exit doors. Ive been to some hotels that have cameras on every floor and I avoid those. but most of the time the ones i go to with 3 or 6 floors just have the 1st floor monitored. So its best to wander from the second floor on up. Use stairs and avoid elevators because modern ones detect movement and time thats monitored by security and you never know what kind of hidden camera is behind that mirror in some elevators.

Ugh, cameras . You’re really brave Man, going hunting when they’re clearly visible in all the corridors. Personally if I see cameras in the corridors I take the night off then never go back to that hotel again.

I find that Holiday Inn Express in the UK increasingly put cameras in the corridors which is a pity because it’s a low cost chain so attracts a lot of younger couples.

I agree with elfsanchez’s comments. Another trick is to be the stupid traveller when I arrive at the hotel - go to the wrong floor while towing my suitcase then wandering along corridors looking for my room. This gives me a chance to check for cameras (and early evening lovers), if any hotel staff stop me I have a good excuse for being there.

Both good suggestions, LeStanf and ejfsanchez2 - I've really been rolling the dice with this up to now. Assumed that cameras were just for recording for hotel/police to retrieve and back-review in case of reported crime - kind of like the black box on airlines.

From this point I am taking LeStanf's approach. Even if I go through with the evening, will act as if someone is actually watching me. I like the suitcase idea as well.

Another regret of the evening - B and D were next door neighbors. B had sex when D were still out on their evening. However, D returned and had sex presumably when B were in bed to go to sleep.
