I actually thought you (and some of the others here) would really like this one.

I will post long continuous ones in the future, but the reason I didn't do it this time is that my original recorder only allowed for 3 mins at a time. However, my new one allows for much longer but I was scared to take the risk as if it didn't work, I would never be able to upload it in the first place.

There is some genius on this forum that can stitch the recordings together and Yeppie would probably know who. I'm sure it can be done.

Did some editing and amplifying and here is the result - hope you all are happy with it.

It's why I like my concealed sticky USB mics - 5 hour files - times three on one battery recharge. That way the session is completely uninterrupted and recorded as a whole. You'll even hear me walking away and coming back when I can't hang by the door for whatever reason. When I can use a better recorder in proximity of a noisy room, I have to frequently use the stitching methods I used here on yours along with fade-in and fade-out transitions when people arrive and I have to flee the scene temporarily.

Yeah, I don't have those. The useful thing with those is that you can actually just leave them there and go about your own business as opposed to waiting for them (the downside being you aren't there to hear them live). There are other positives like not having to move away with your own recording if you need to.

For me, the real annoyance is when you are, like me, wanting to run into a party crowd and not finding one before realising that you could have if you booked early enough...

Don't know if I can ever get it quite as long as gekko (and sometimes chaebi) does but the long captures are useful if you want to stay up all night.
