Hi Yeppie,
I was wondering if it is possible to integrate a kind of "short disclamer page" that all members have to confirm, that they will respect the privacy of others, before uploading pictures. I mean previous to each upload they do, not a one time thing. Maybe extended with an access group where "active" members can be added after some time, so they are able to upload without disclaimer.
It seems that many don't read the rules before uploading and it's happening from time to time, that pictures violate others privacy until you delete them.
Best regards,
jinhui

I like the suggestion, but isn`t actually this already in place? It is already some time ago that I registered, but I somehow remember that I had to confirm to have read the rules and conditions...

I think you have to confirm it during the registration process that you've read it (what many people don't ). What i mean is a disclaimer that will be shown each time you upload a file in the "something to look at" section.
For example: "I confirm that my uploads respect the privacy of others according to the >rules< (rules as link). Violations will result in a ban from the forum."

Thank you for your idea and for "reporting" your own message!
I like the idea and have thought about a way to implement it. I may have found a possible solution already but will have to check alternatives first before getting to work. Due to the uploading procedures, a disclaimer page and a solution only for picture uploads won´t be possible though but a general message should be practicable.
Thanks again.

Done. The message appearing when switching to the attachment tab has been supplemented by a disclaimer message.
I´m afraid that is the best I can do at the moment.

Re: Disclaimer during upload in specific threads?
This is the new disclaimer right? "If you wish to attach one or more files enter the details below. You may also attach files by dragging and dropping them in the message box. By uploading sound files, videos or pictures you confirm that you have read the forum rules and observe them. Uploading any kind of file or information that make people recognizable is a severe violation of the forum rules."
I think most people are too lazy to read such a "long" text that's not really highlighted. They might most likely just oversee it.
Would it be possible to shorten the text and write it in bold red? I think the last part would be sufficient "Uploading any kind of file or information that make people recognizable is a severe violation of the forum rules and might get you banned."
What do you think?
Best regards,
