Was exhausted when I wrote this. Had my door opened a crack and the nose of my Olympus poking out. No cameras around, but a lot of security patrols- and those guys looked intense. Not staying there ever again

The existence of security patrol people is really weird. If anything, they are paid to invade privacy.

Maybe that's the answer gekko, why don't we all become security guards What are those guys paid for anyway? Surely it's not to stop us listening types! I mean whenever I take the chance if I am in a hotel, I never ever see another person doing the same thing. I can't imagine they have security guards just for little old me, who stays in a hotel once a year and probably spends 30 minutes walking about trying to get something!! They waste a lot of money if I'm the reason..... Lol

the only places that have Security Guards that have that Intense look is at ( Casino's ) and Expensive Luxury Hotels such as Marriott or Gaylord Palms but other hotels like Days Inn or Knights Inn or Best Western they hardly have any Security Guards or Security camera's

That's the weirdest part - this place is in a medium sized hotel outside San Diego - there is some history behind the place but it's aging and the rooms poorly maintained. More of a glorified Best Western/ Red Roof Inn type of place.

In the middle of this recording at least three security walk throughs came through, so I didn't even want to walk two doors down for a closer listen.

May be the security guards also wanted to listen in, so they are pretending to do the walk throughs

I would Just avoid that hotel and try out other places that don't have as much Security as other major hotels try the lower end type of hotels like
( Days Inn,Knights Inn,Best Western,Red Roof Inn as well as La Quinta and Drury Inn and Suites in Orlando as well as Hilton Garden Inn in Tampa,Florida ) as I've had more luck with those type of hotels than I would with canvassing a Casino and getting interrogated about why I'm roaming the halls after midnight...
