Welsh blonde and her strong beau

Hi,

I made a business trip across the border into South Wales earlier this week, staying at a hotel in Newport. I saw a welsh couple in the bar, early thirties, she with medium length dyed streaky-blonde hair, slim, smartly dressed, with a healthy pair of firm breasts tastefully highlighted by an open white blouse. He was well built and looked strong, perhaps a rugby player, also smartly dressed in a sports jacket and tie. They ate a meal together and collected fresh pints of beer before heading up to their room. About half an hour later I captured this clip:

After this they showered together (chatting and laughing but no sex), then talked for a while longer before settling down for the night. I put a fresh USB in place about 11’ish then went to bed myself. I’m glad I did this because at about 3 am I captured this short clip:

The next morning was a little frustrating. I went to collect my recorder and could hear that they were engaging in some wakeup sex but as it turned out, the battery on the overnight USB had run out by then out so I’d missed the start. However, I put a fresh one in place and managed to capture their happy ending:

It’s a pity about the battery, it would have been nice to have caught all of their morning session. Ah well, it’s a bit of a glass half full thing, at least I captured part of it.

Battery failures... Ugh. A couple of years ago I had the opposite. Great start and barely into it battery conked out. Vowed it would never happen again. My ritual is to immediately plug in to charge second I get into the room.
So far been a dry summer for me. False start last month and zilch otherwise. Can't wait to hear these!

Regarding device batteries, the cheap as chips mini USBs I'm using at the moment last more than 15 hours,
I'm not kidding.

Thank you for the caps. As far as batteries, I found one of my usb's that I had not had on in what must be over a year. I flipped the switch and the thing took off. I doubt it would go for long, but damn those lithium batteries hold a charge a long time.

I fully understand what you indicate in your third comment / post. It is very frustrating when a recording is halfway due to the inability of space or battery. For my part, I came to develop a system that greatly alleviated that case, but, of course, it is not always possible. That situation has also happened to me a million times (well, maybe not so much but they seemed). You must be satisfied with your captures. I liked them a lot and you reminded me that I still have a trip to Wales pending (one day)

I fasten white USBs to the outside door frame using double sided sticky tape. I learned this technique from gecko.

Well, you can see them of course but they don't really stand out against the white door frame so they're easy to miss. Walls are often white too, it's surprising how well they blend in. I occasionally lose one but as they're so cheap it's not a big deal.

Some hotels have dark brown, blue or black doorframes, so I also keep a couple of black ones with me in my bag.
