I have been an avid listener on the group for a while now. Recently stayed at a hotel where the couple in the adjoining room were going for it big time. I recorded using my phone at the door gap.
Although I could hear clearly as it happened I was dismayed to see how much noise came through on the recording!
I have renewed respect for the experts here.
Can someone run some noise reduction and see what come out?

The alarm towards the end of the recording is his call to get up but he was determined to finish the job first

Here's a quick attempt at noise reduction, but although there are a few sex sounds that can be heard, it doesn't help a lot. I also boosted the volume a bit, so before I did, I deleted some louder bits of sound made by phone handling.
Even though it's far from great, genuine thanks for making the effort and also for sharing with the community. Better luck next time and maybe a few 'expert' members who capture in motels, will provide a few tips for working in those circumstances.

best thing to recording at the gap at the bottom is to get as close as you can without invading their space. most door gaps have slight openings on the bottom weather stripping. it just takes practice to see what side of the door has a bit more of a wider gap. thanks for sharing. and best of luck in your future recordings
