We have been through this before. No, the file will not be uploaded for you. The file lives in the archive.
If you took the time to read the link Yeppi provided (
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=29&p=57382#p57382 ) that would tell you all you need to know..
The idea is that we have a limited amount of space here. So people upload files and when this space starts to fill up, all of the attachments before some cut off date get moved to the archive. The archive has something like 60GB of files. If you enjoy these types of things it is a gold mine. You can listen non stop 24 x 7 for weeks on end. However, there is a catch, you have to pay to access the archive. If you visit here regularly, you can get anything new before it gets archived, but if you really want something from the archive, you need to subscribe. FWIW, it is not that expensive and it offsets Yeppi's costs for hosting this site and buying fuel for his personal Learjet.
So, if you see a thread and the file is not there, the answer to where is the file? It is in the archive. Bringing old posts back from the dead will not make the files re-appear.
